Rob Burrow, an MND activist, recorded messages for his children to be played at key moments in their lives. His wife, Lindsey, shared her pride in his legacy, noting the outpouring of support after his death, including a heartfelt message from Prince William.
Burrow, who died on June 2 at 41, had left a powerful final message urging people not to waste time. Along with his public speech in the BBC documentary There’s Only One Rob Burrow, he recorded private messages for his children. Lindsey said it’s too soon to watch them, but they include birthday messages and guidance for the future.
Rob, a rugby league legend, won numerous titles with Leeds Rhinos and represented England and Great Britain. Prince William called him a “legend” with “a huge heart” following his passing.
