Juanita was adamant that fear could be conquered via positive thinking, regardless of the challenges.”For me, hope means peace,” she remarked in a heartfelt farewell just before she passed away.Even throughout the darkest times of her struggle, she found courage and solace in her steadfast belief that we have the power to choose how we react to life’s obstacles.Her father was the mayor of Lo Barnechea, Chile, therefore Juanita hailed from a long line of public servants.The community she was a part of was in deep mourning after her passing.Her loved ones, however, take solace in the knowledge that she has attained eternal peace.Those who were impacted by her bravery and tenacity will always carry her legacy in their hearts.
